No Cowboys Today!

Sunday November 17. Stay away from the intersection - there’s no train wreck today. The Cowboys aren’t playing until Monday night. They get to be embarrassed in prime time. In the meantime here are some suggestions for things Jerry Jones can do today:

  1. Do something about the glare from the the sun coming in the west end of Jerry’s World. Maybe put tinted visors on the players’ face masks. Or better yet - install curtains or a sliding shade. I can’t believe Jones is missing an opportunity to put some more money in his pocket. You know a new sponsor would be willing to pay to put their money on the covering along with some motto like America’s Team is Made in the Shade.

  2. Speaking of sponsors, quit running the commercials for Ford Trucks. Nobody wants to buy a truck that is advertised as having “the power and performance of the Dallas Cowboys”.

  3. Finally, pick up Tyrique Stevenson from the Chicago Bears. You may remember him as the cornerback who was caught on camera talking to fans when the final play was underway. So he was talking instead of playing. What a perfect fit. That’s what the Cowboys do best! That’s one man’s opinion - what’s yours?
